He arrives at work in freshly pressed khakis and golf shirt or sometimes a button down. He could wear a suit but that's too pretentious. His casual presence reflects in his ease with customers as a steady flow of people come in to his office to buy a new or pre-owned vehicle and leave with smiles on their faces and keys in their hands 5 days a week. He is knowledgeable beyond any classroom and holds a master certification with Toyota, has been Salesperson of the year and salesperson of the month many times over. He knows how to handle most sales situations or customer needs with mindfulness and ease.
Stan Arnold has been with Reno Toyota-Scion since 1977 and continually delivers exceptional customer relations and customer retention. Mr. Arnold is a native Reno resident, active in his community, philanthropy, and local school sport league sponsorships including Pop Warner, SYFL, High School teams such as Manogue, Hug and Reed. While Mr. Arnold is not at Toyota he is either spending time with his family of 5 or enjoying local sporting events.
Since 1977, Stan has evolved through the company from sales associate to Finance Manager to Sales Management and was Toyota's General Manager in 1991 for three years, however, returned to sales. Stan missed the day to day interaction with customers, selling new, pre-owned and Toyota certified vehicles and creating his own schedule. Mr Arnold says that when he went back to selling cars, however, he did keep an assistant, who helps out with getting information from customers, including vehicles they're interested in and trade-in details. That leaves Mr. Arnold with more time to do his favorite parts of the job "talking to customers and of course selling cars."
Stan takes special care of his customers at every step of the buying process and scheduled maintenance with the know how to handle any situation and customer need with thoughtfulness and ease. He has mastered his craft and carved out the perfect sales career that any novice should recognize.
